The heart of Il Liberty was born from this very idea and finds its home in a historic Milanese Art Nouveau building, the expression of an era in which elegance, innovation, and attention to detail coexisted in perfect harmony. Just as Art Nouveau architecture masterfully blended art and modernity, our cuisine is nourished by tradition and influences from different cultures, by respect for its origins and a constant desire to evolve.

Andrea Provenzani
Andrea Provenzani, chef and owner of Il Liberty Milano, was born and raised in Milan. In 2002, he fulfilled his dream by opening Il Liberty, a place where tradition and contemporaneity come together in an authentic and deeply personal cuisine.
His philosophy is driven by instinct, curiosity, and an unwavering desire to push his boundaries. Each dish is born from research, sensitivity, and passion—qualities continually enriched by encounters with new people, cultures, and experiences.
Believing that growth also comes through human relationships, he considers Il Liberty a true family, founded on respect, continuous learning, sharing, and a constant desire to improve.
